We are delighted to announce that the Trainee Lawyer of the Year Award 2016, presented at the Norfolk & Norwich Law Society (NNLS) Annual Dinner, went to our very own Victoria Rose!

Last week, NNLS President James Hunter welcomed over two hundred guests from across Norfolk’s legal profession to celebrate another successful year for the region at the Annual Dinner. The event took place at the contemporary venue OPEN in Norwich, and guests were treated to an evening of fine dining, guest speakers and musical entertainment. The NNLS Excellence Awards were presented by the President of the Law Society in England and Wales, Robert Bourns.

The Awards celebrate creativity and initiative in the workplace, noteworthy dedication and enthusiasm of individuals to their given role, and commercial awareness, amongst other attributes. The NNLS judging panel selected Victoria Rose as their outstanding candidate on the basis of her contribution to Gordon Dean Solicitors during 2015.

Victoria joined Gordon Dean Solicitors in 2014 and was soon offered a Traineeship. She was responsible for a large Personal Injury caseload which she maintained and built whilst completing her seats in both Employment Law and Private Client. In addition to this, Victoria led a successful marketing drive through BNI, the networking organisation, showing her initiative to market Gordon Dean to Norfolk businesses and demonstrating how she is a great asset to the firm. She recently won a BNI “Most Valuable Member 2016” award.

Gordon Dean, Senior Partner, says of Victoria: “The quality of her work is excellent and she is a natural at litigation. I can see that she has great potential…  probably the best trainee I ever trained!’ We regularly receive praise about Victoria from our clients and in addition she is a reliable, friendly and positive colleague – a real pleasure to work with! Congratulations Victoria!
