Samuel Willis

We are pleased to welcome Samuel Willis to the team in our Norwich office.

Sam studied law at the University of East Anglia, before taking the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP in London. He will be working for two days each week as a paralegal, assisting the solicitors with their casework.

Sam says: “I am looking forward to the experience of working at Gordon Dean Solicitors and have already been involved in some very interesting contract and negligence disputes. I have an interest in civil litigation, having thoroughly enjoyed the civil module at Bar school.”

Sam also works at the Norfolk Community Law Service (read more about NCLS here).  He started by helping set up a new welfare benefits advocacy service, before being employed as a Tribunal Advocate. His role is to represent clients before tribunals and also to train a team of 10 student volunteers to do the same.

Sam’s other interests include sprint and marathon kayaking and he has represented Great Britain in international competitions. Despite a busy work schedule he still manages to fit in training at Norwich Canoe Club!

Sam is a highly valued addition to the Norwich team and we hope he enjoys his time with us.
